Qualified LED Product Lists [How to qualify your LED product]
The Lab maintains two lists of qualified LED products – one for lamps and one for fixtures and tubes. Northwest utilities use this list to approve lighting rebates while products are waiting for Energy Star or Design Lights Consortium approval.
Classes and Workshops

Tours
The Lab has a demonstration area where you can make side-by-side comparisons of lighting technologies and try out a variety of controls. You can also see the effect of different lamp types on color in our color boxes. An average tour takes about an hour. Mock-ups
There’s nothing like seeing a real-life simulation of your lighting project.Our 1,200 square foot mockup facility has a moveable 15' high ceiling, making possible a full-scale installation of a lighting system to make sure it meet you needs. More information and/or request a mockup.

Lighting Evaluations
The Lab conducts informal testing of lighting products. Recent tests include LED PAR 38 and T8, Induction lamps, and LED streetlights.
Outdoor Lighting Center
The Lab's full-scale mockups of arterial readways are performed at our off-site outdoor lighting center with capability of comparing 3 streetlights at one time at a height upwards of 30'.
Conference Rooms and Classroom
We have two conference rooms available for rent to hold your meetings. Our small conference room has an 8 person capacity and our large conference room has a 16 person capacity. We also have a classroom available for rent as well that holds a capacity of up to 80 people. Please fill out and send us a room rental agreement if you are interested in using one of our spaces.
