What is a Mockup?
- A mockup is a
full scale installation of a proposed lighting system. Actual light
fixtures, fixture placement, ceiling height, room dimensions, surface
finishes and furniture layout can all be evaluated in a mock-up. This
allows the design team to view and make necessary changes before actual
construction begins.

- Simple mockups
can be free!
- The Lighting Design
Lab contributes 8 hours labor - afterward it is billed at $40/hr.
- The LDL allows
3 days viewing after buildout - afterward it is billed at $75/day.
