Juvenile Justice Arial View - photo credit California Board of Corrections

Juvenile Justice Exterior - This exterior shot only covers about have of the building. It seems purposely massive and imposing - a valid design intent for buildings with courtrooms and incarceration facilities.

Juvenile Justice Courtroom - These courtrooms are light and airy, with high ceilings. Room lighting is controlled by dual-technology occupancy sensors.

Juvenile Justice Corridor - This was a medium shot of one section of the corridor. The complete length of the corridor is 2 football fields. "Warden" Dave Burtner maintains security while we take pictures.

Juvenile Justice Gymnasium - The gym is used by those in detention in the pods and students who attend classes under court order.
